About Me

I have been working in the mortgage industry for over 8 years in various capacities, including loan officer, sales manager and recruiter/trainer. I have been privileged to train more than 50 loan officers and I've been involved in over 1,000 loan closings.   From 2007 - 2009 I owned and operated Old Providence Mortgage Co. in Centerville, UT.  My decision to join Academy Mortgage Corp. has allowed me to re-focus on the needs of my clients and real estate partners with minimal distraction.  It has also allowed me to offer better rates and service!

Prior to entering the mortgage industry, I worked for 2 years as an NASD registered securities representative, and for 2 years as a credit and debt counselor, helping families avoid bankruptcy, pay off debt, and increase their credit score.  I attended the University of Utah where I earned a BS in Organizational Communication in 2002, and Master of Business Administration in 2007.
